How to Prepare for Your First Men's Wax
- Let the hair grow to about 1/4 inch (about the length of a grain of rice) so the wax can grip it. Do not shave for 2 to 3 weeks beforehand.
- Shower before your appointment and wear loose, comfortable clothing.
- Avoid alcohol and caffeine right before your visit, and skip tanning or sun exposure the day before.
- Tell your esthetician about any skin conditions or medications, especially acne medication.
